Delivered online or in-person public health adult education classes with group coaching incorporated into the curriculum. The goal of this class is for students to have a broader picture of immunity and long-term changes they can make to keep their immune system going. This class explores foods and habits that can boost the immune system and what undermines it. This course includes recipe demonstrations from a Certified Food Saved Me Instructor, a beautiful nutrition booklet, and food samples.

Food Addiction 101

Are you struggling with cravings? Do you find yourself eating foods that you know aren’t good for you but you can’t seem to stop? Do you sometimes feel controlled by food? This class is delivered by a certified Food Saved Me Instructor and will provide information regarding the root cause of cravings. Powerful strategies to tackle cravings, and will include recipe demonstration, beautiful nutrition handouts, and delicious food samples.

Sleep Better – Stress Less

More and more research is being released on sleep and what a powerful effect it has on our daily health. Many people struggle with poor sleep quality, sleep apnea, and sluggishness during the day. This class explores the science on what to eat and when to eat to achieve optimal sleep, stress reduction and body/health renewal. A certified Food Saved Me Instructor will share the latest research, prepare delicious recipes, and provide a beautiful nutrition booklet.

Revamp your Kitchen with Healthy Meal Preps

Do you wish you could go out and eat less, but are not sure how to plan meals for home? Are you looking to save money, while also eating healthier? Confused about how to put delicious meals together easily? Never dread the question of “What’s for dinner?” again! This class is taught by a certified Food Saved Me Instructor and will cover how to put meals together, how to pair different recipes, and always have variety! You’ll never be bored of eating the same old foods again! Class includes nutrition information, 4 weeks of meal plans, recipes, and delicious food samples.

African American Nutrition

In this class we identify 6 key genetic differences where African Americans are at risk for chronic disease conditions and nutritional strategies to overcome the risks. This course serves delicious food and powerful information that will inspire and encourage those wishing to make healthy changes in their lives.

Get Focused for Adults

Is a nutrition and cooking class where we explore the gut-brain connection and how food affects brain fog, memory, and focus. We will discuss how certain food choices can impair our brain from working to its full potential. A certified Food Saved Me instructor will share evidence-based information, easy delicious recipes, and support you on your journey with a beautiful nutrition booklet and food samples.

Get Focused for Kids

This nutrition and cooking class covers the gut-brain connection and how food choices can greatly affect children’s brain function, focus, and metal clarity. We know that nutrition and environmental exposures are so important during adolescence. Foods can impair focus and hinder learning success. A Food Saved Me Certified Instructor will deliver cooking demonstrations, recipes, and food samples and send you home with a beautiful booklet for reference

Nutrition to Prevent and Survive Ovarian Cancer

Ovarian cancer causes more deaths than any other type of female reproductive cancer. Luckily, there is a tremendous amount of recent research showing how a woman can dramatically lower her risk of getting ovarian cancer with certain dietary habits. In class a Certified Food Saved Me Instructor will share powerful nutrition science, demonstrate recipes that are easy to make, delicious, and have a positive impact on keeping this deadly disease at bay. For ovarian cancer patients the information we share has been shown to increase survival rates and reduce risk of recurrence. Class includes cooking demonstrations, recipes, food samples and beautiful booklets.

Individual coaching sessions are available as needed or desired for individuals looking to address a health topic they want to go to work on in a single session.

Personal Health and Well-being Coaching packages are an optimal starting point for health behavior change. Evidence suggests that having a weekly call for up to three months after the initial coaching experience creates consistency, support, and a path to success for healthful habits to accomplish one’s desired outcome.

PRIVATE YOGA LESSONS

Private yoga lessons at Yoga Recover are designed for students who want to deepen their practice and improve alignment through individualized instruction. Work one-on-one with a certified instructor trained in both the Original Hot 26 & 2 Bikram Yoga and LifePower Ashtanga Vinyasa traditions. Ongoing Private Individual Package of 12 lessons

After the Introductory New Client 1-Month Special or a minimum of 4 Individual Private lessons continue to deepen and refine your practice with private lessons. All private and semi-private lessons are by appointment only and will be for 75 to 90 minutes depending on your preferred yoga style. The room is heated to the appropriate temperature and humidity for each tradition.
